Anyway back with my story, I woke up at 11 AM because of a phone call. Good thing I set my phone in the normal mode tone setting. The customer called me and told me that he already left from Nueva Ecija and he's already in SM Manila. I saw on my phone that I have 3 text messages from him and 6 miss calls. But the thing that made me go on with this transaction is we've already agreed the other day that he will buy my Kamagong Arnis sticks either Wednesday or Thursday.
That's what I like. He told me at an earlier time and he complied steadily. The 1 thing that I can call a mishap is just he didn't text me last night so I'll be informed that he will be in SM Manila this morning.
Unlike with the other customer the other day. He's from Calapan, Mindoro. He sent an LBC money remittance to his uncle that is living in Silang, Cavite or Tagaytay City? His uncle sent me a text message on Tuesday night October 1, saying he will meet me in Robinson's Dasma last Thursday October 3, 10 AM. Then, last Wednesday night October 2, he asked me if I could go at 2 PM instead of 10 AM. I agreed so I surfed the internet from evening until morning. Then, at 7 AM October 3 when I'm about to sleep, he texted me saying he's going to Robinson's Dasma because his agenda was postponed. I told him, just go at 2 PM as what we agreed. I put my phone on silent and went to sleep. When I woke up at 12:30 PM, I saw on my phone that he sent me text messages and I have miss calls from him saying he arrived on Robinson's Dasma and waiting for me until 11 AM. I thought he'll just gonna change his mind again. And so, he just returned the money to his nephew in Calapan. I really don't like people who changes the time of what we agreed upon, especially on the day of our meeting.
I arrived in SM Manila at passed 2 PM today, I think...
This is me, holding the Kamagong sticks in the LRT.
His name is Kenneth, carrying the Kamagong sticks he bought from me. He told me he came all the way from Nueva Ecija and he will give the sticks to his cousin who practices Arnis in Baguio. He told me, his cousin's FMA team is a famous competitor in Baguio but since I'm just a beginner and my FMA style is non-sport or combative in nature, I really don't know what he's talking about.
He told me he really like my Kamagong sticks. He checked them first when I gave them to him. I told him in a text message the other day that the sticks have some grooves when I bought them but still, he agrees to buy them. He also told me that he checked the Kamagong sticks in a store at the ground floor of the mall, and mine are more impressive. (He didn't know I just bought them at a cheaper price, somewhere near just 2 LRT Stations away from SM Manila... Hehe... I could make a profit with these). I just hope it won't snap easily since I read on Amazon.com that Kamagong sticks snap easily during contact when sparring.
After the transaction, I went down to Chris Sports to see what he's talking about and he's right. Mine are more impressive since the Kamagong Sticks in Chris Sports have rough surfaces, color brown and supposed to be dark color and shiny. About the price, I'm just PHP5 higher with the ones they sell in Chris Sports (PHP395). I made a really reasonable price.
Now I'm just waiting for his feedback of my product in sulit.com.ph. He's on his way to Baguio to deliver the Kamagong sticks to his cousin.
Next item that I'm gonna sell online is either my Kamagong bokken:
or maybe sell some interesting books that I already read.
